We are so very excited to tell you about a brand new bridal show coming to Birmingham next February 2011.
The Designer Vintage Bridal Show celebrates the creative, the incredible and the absolute hottest designers and suppliers of all things vintage and is being held at Highbury Hall in Birmingham on the 19th and 20th February 2011.
It’s the brainchild of yours truly and the lovely Clare Guest from The Wedding Club in Harborne and the show already has some absolutely fantastic professionals from the designer vintage bridal market including your chance to Meet the Bloggers (namely the very beautiful and incredible Rock and Roll Bride Kat Williams and the gorgeous and tres chic Annabel from Love My Dress).
Visitors to the show will fall in love with designs and products inspired by another era, divine dresses, music, bouquets, accessories, transport and of course, shoes!

We all love a wedding don’t we? And of course everyone the world over is now brimming with excitement at the news of Kate and William’s forthcoming nuptials, none more so than the whole of the wedding industry and yours truly, already picking out her outfit at Rachel Simpson Shoes HQ, just in case a special invitation drops on to the mat!

When Rachel Simpson Shoes appears on other blog sites, we love to tell you about it so you can go and have a look – who knows you might find another bridal blog worth a regular visit, in the process!
Our fabulous new friends at My Wedding Dot Com‘s blog site Delightfully Engaged, have given us a glorious write up for which we are truly gobsmacked and suitably blushing with pride.
“When I saw Rachel Simpson’s booth at Bridal Market (in New York City) I had a total Rachel Zoe “shut-the-front-door” moment. Not only was Rachel (Simpson) herself wearing the most killer pair of heels that forced me to remind myself that tackling someone for their shoes is highly inappropriate behavior (I found out later they’re her Marilyn’s in mink – someone please go buy them!), but she had stacks of wedding shoes that were absolutely gorgeous. And after fruitlessly searching for months for a pair of cool wedding shoes that I could see myself wearing after the big day, I can attest to what a rare find this is.” Read more here!

The Heat is on!
Just taking five to flick through the latest copy of Heat and hello, we found two beautiful celebs that would look absolutely amazing in a pair of the new shoes from Noir.
As Harry Potter finishes filming and the first part of the final book comes to the cinema screens, gorgeous little Emma Watson rocks this vintage look – the delectable Dominique would be the perfect shoe for this magical outfit!
Georgia May Jagger looks delicious in this cherry red lacy dress and wouldn’t it be just the icing on the cake if she finished the look with a pair of Amarante?
