Getting picture perfect toes for your wedding
We teamed up with owner of HAUSxNAILS Morgan Hart to give you all the top tips on making sure your toes are peep-toe perfect for your big day!
1.Tell us a little bit about you
My mother is a hairdresser and she used to wear long almond nails painted pillar box red for most of my childhood; I loved them! I dreamt of being able to create nails like hers. For my 16th birthday my parents paid for me to attend my first nail training course and the rest is history. I am super passionate about nails OK well actually I’m obsessed!
2. What are your top tips for transforming neglected winter feet into super sexy summer ready toes?
If you can’t get to your local nail salon get yourself a Pumice stone, Cuticle oil and a nice thick body butter. Scrub your heels and any callused skin with your pumice stone, buff your toenails smooth, massage cuticle oil into your nails and slather a generous amount of cream on your heels. Add a slick of polish on your toes and your good to go!
3. What are the popular colours for toes this summer?
Chalky colours are in this summer- Powder/Baby blues, soft pinks and lilacs. As a contrast corals and bright pinks are always a hit summer time.
4. What would be your honeymoon beauty essentials?
A Cuticle oil like ‘famous names’
signature ‘Dadi oil’ which is rich in jojoba oil, avocado oil and vitamin E, a nail file and a super shiny top coat
5. Favourite Rachel Simpson shoe?
Without hesitation Darcie Rose Gold. These were perfect for our blush/ rose gold themed wedding and are super comfortable on the dance floor!
6. Dream honeymoon destination?
Aruba where my husband and I spent our honeymoon #onehappyisland
